PS5 and PS4 HDMI port replacement
The HDMI port is the most common PlayStation failure we see in Belgaum. A cable pulled at an angle, a console knocked off a shelf or a loose connection that has arced over time can crack the solder joints or bend the tiny pins inside the port. Symptoms include no signal on the TV, a picture that flickers, or video that only works when the cable is held at a certain angle.
We remove the damaged port with hot air, clean the pads, check the board traces under magnification and solder a new port in place. If the HDMI retimer chip behind the port has also been damaged, we test it and tell you before going further. After the repair we run the console on a test display to confirm a stable picture and sound.
Overheating, loud fan and sudden shutdowns
If your PlayStation turns off during heavy games, shows a heat warning or the fan screams constantly, the cooling system is usually clogged with dust or the thermal compound has dried out. On the PS5, the liquid metal on the main chip also needs to be checked carefully, because it must never leak onto nearby parts.
Our cooling service includes a full strip-down, deep dust cleaning of the fan and heatsink, fresh thermal material where needed and a fan check. Your console runs cooler, quieter and is less likely to suffer long-term damage.
No power, blue light of death and boot problems
A PlayStation that beeps and turns off, shows a pulsing blue light or does nothing at all may have a power supply fault, a shorted component or a software problem. We test the power supply output, look for shorts on the motherboard and try a safe-mode recovery where it makes sense, so you only pay for the part that is actually broken.
Disc drive and storage faults
Discs that won't load, eject on their own or make grinding sounds point to a disc drive issue. We clean and adjust the drive or replace worn parts. We also help with failing storage, and can advise on installing a compatible SSD expansion in your PS5.
